Not only you will get all the inspiration with colour schemes and overall moods but you will also have access to some of my favorite products. This means it will be a streamlined and enjoyable process for you, eliminating stress and giving you more time for what matters most to you.
Concept Design
First things first, similarly to how things would progress for a “real” project, we need a concept design. This is the stage where we set the overall mood of a space and the aesthetic direction, without getting into the specifics.
What we have here is a bedroom where the feelings of groundedness and calmness are put forward with the rich and dark tones.
I chose walnut as the dominant finish, a prestigious wood species that instantly translates as solid and reliable, in the form of free standing furniture or bespoke solutions you may want to introduce.
Accents of dark, deep blue are introduced to add depth and layers to the space, as well as a calm and soothing feeling, perfect for a bedroom.
With these dark and strong colours and finishes, I opted for a neutral shell with a beige carpet and off white, warm very light grey paint colour to not overwhelm the senses. Oh and hints of brass / gold to tap even more into the rich finishes, opposed to having chrome.
2. Sample Selections
You will find below a sample of selections which would work very well for this bedroom scheme.
This is just an example of what pieces could be introduced, feel free to browse my favorite products to find and purchase stocked items.
