This inherited space located in Italy was to be turned into a rental since the new owners had no personal use for it.

Aware of the rich history of the place, we envisioned a space where the past is proudly incorporated in the present time, honoured. A space where the local aesthetics and influences are valued but in touch with our era and its people.

Architectural Kintsugi is the key element of the design here. This traditional Japanese restoration art conventionally used to restore broken ceramics is instead applied to architectural features, embracing the imperfections of the space.
To further enhance this sustainability and eco-friendly aspect, numerous original features were kept and restored, all new elements and finishes were carefully selected to promote local and sustainable products and artisans, as well as the wellbeing of the visitors and of course being suited for the intended use of the space.

The result is a warm Mediterranean space, authentic and inviting, where the past is honoured and harmoniously integrated, providing a rich and unique experience to its visitors.
